Accident on Stearns Road at Ponemah Road. No injuries were reported. Steven Cote, 50, of New Boston, NH was in one car and Roger Langley, 55, of Milford, NH was in the other.[Tuesday, July 26]
The Amherst Police Department investigated a reported theft which occurred on Secomb Road at the intersection of Mont Vernon Road on July 22, 2011 sometime between 12 am and 3 pm. An Echo Power Pruner was taken.
At 12:38 am, the Amherst Police Department arrested Jason Smolinsky, 28, of 11 Tricnit Road, New Ipswich, NH on a charge of Criminal Liability for the Conduct of Another. Smolinsky was released on $1,000 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for July 28, 2011 in the Milford District Court.
At 6:48 am, the Amherst Police Department arrested Scott Devin, 61, of 42 Monadnock Highway, N. Swanzey, NH on a charge of Driving After Suspension. Devine was released on $500 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for August 18, 2011 in the Milford District Court.
At 4:13 pm, the Amherst Police Department arrested Christopher Stipes, 33, of 33 Schuyler Street #3, Manchester, NH on a charge of Attempt to Commit Theft by Deception. Stipes was released on $600 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for August 18, 2011 in the Milford District Court.

At 3 am, the Amherst Police Department arrested Caitlin M. O’Bryan, 19, of 29 Newton Drive, Nashua, NH on a charge of Unlawful Possession of Alcohol. O’Bryan was released on $400 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for August 18, 2011 in the Milford District Court.

At 6:46 am, the Amherst Police Department arrested James Kobelenz, 42, of 9 Brickyard Road, Litchfield, NH on an electronic bench warrant issued by the Nashua District Court. Kobelenz was released on $2500 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for August 1, 2011 at 8:30 am in the Nashua District Court.
