Horse Expo 2011 notices are already in the mail
The Wichita County Extension Horse Committee Horse Expo 2011 notices are in the mail. The card itself is another work of art created by Exa Cunningham. It explains everything you need to know to get involved with the Expo and the Futurities.

The Horse Expo 2010 includes the Breeder's Futurity and Classic Futurity, the Texoma All-Breed Horse Show Association Open Horse Show, commercial vendors, a silent auction, the Stallion Service Auction, a very special breed exhibit and a Model Horse Show Association-sanctioned model horse competition. The Horse Expo is set for Oct 15-16 at the J.S. Bridwell Agricultural Center.
The next TABHSA show is Aug. 13 at the Bridwell Center. Registration begins at 8 a.m. and the show starts at 9 a.m. Awards will include high point and reserve high point in three age groups plus grand and reserve halter awards for stallions, mares and geldings. The show offers 69 classes and the Whispers of Hope Walk/Trot for challenged youth. The judge is Ann Jones. For more information, call Liz Jones at 940-937-2235.
The other upcoming open show is the Texas-Oklahoma Fair Show scheduled for Sept. 17 at the Bridwell Center. Pat Burton, a member of the Pony of the Americas Hall of Fame, will be the judge.
