RTX TELECOM : RTX enters the US VoIP market with a leading global PBX provider
RTX has developed a highly flexible IP DECT system for use in the SME market. The system is scalable and can be configured from a few handsets and base stations up to connecting 200 handsets and 40 base stations in one telephone network. The system features wideband CAT-iq audio offering a substantially improved audio quality, seamless handover between the bases and over the air synchronization.
RTX and brand PBX world has entered a development agreement in which the IP DECT system was developed and customized to meet specific customer requirements in terms of user interface, features and characteristics specific to various vertical markets pursued by the PBX global brand. The system is configured as DECT 6.0 DECT is the standard for the North American market. The 8630 IP DECT VoIP system is made interoperable with multiple versions of PBX switches marketed by global supplier of PBX in the United States and Canada.The product is marketed under the brand overall corporate PBX and will be distributed and installed via their extensive network of professional dealers. The product has over Q2 and Q3 of tests undertaken substantial market for global partners and PBX was introduced to the market in Q4 2011.
